At Bloom, we only support companies with cruelty-free objectives. All of our retail or take-home products are certified cruelty-free. Our professional haircolor brands are already cruelty-free or have made commitments to become cruelty-free in the coming years. We Are Pittsburgh's Sustainable Salon

Bloom is a certified Green Circle Salon. This means we recycle 95% of our waste! No, seriously — we don't even have a dumpster or trash service! The beauty industry itself poses many challenges to the environment, from the sourcing of ingredients to the disposal of packaging and products in our landfills and water systems. Through our alignment with Green Circle Salons, we diminish or eliminate the ecological footprint we are making. Instead of traditional trash disposal or recycling services, we implement simple green changes that will make both our salon, and our industry, cleaner and more sustainable. In addition to this partnership, we also use green cleaning products and as many reusable products as possible. We are incredibly proud of this and confident that, as fellow stewards of our planet, you will support our initiative to help keep our communities cleaner and more vibrant places to live.

What is a Safe Zone? A safe zone is a place where anyone can relax and be fully self-expressed, without fear of being made to feel uncomfortable, unwelcome, or challenged because of biological sex, race/ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, cultural background, age, or physical or mental ability. We are a place where the rules guard each person's self-respect, dignity, and feelings and strongly encourage everyone to respect others.
